+ - Group 1 human carcinogen (IARC) Parental exposure to ionizing radiation, metal dusts, organic solvents, pesticides, and hydrocarbons have been associated with increased rates of childhood leukemia. Also, childhood exposure to pesticides applied indoors up to age 3 has been associated with leukemia.
