This ScienceServ explores the emerging science on the health effects of exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF). We do this by distributing influential research articles, fostering discussion spaces, and creating collaborative opportunities among researchers, advocates, patients, health care providers, public health professionals and others concerned with exposure to EMF. CHE Partnership calls feature new research on EMF exposure and innovative efforts to apply the science towards health promotion.

This ScienceServ is coordinated by Antoinette (Toni) Stein, PhD, and Michael Lerner, PhD, president of Commonweal. Toni is an environmental engineer who brings a scientific engineering perspective to research and development in manufacturing industry applications.

CHE does not take a stance on specific legislation nor sign petitions and the like. Rather, we investigate and discuss the scientific foundation for more health-protective policies in a civil tone. For posting guidelines and etiquette, please see our CHEtiquette.
