Emma Zang-Schwartz, MPH
Emma, CHE's program associate, recently graduated with her master's degree in Public Health from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. Her focus has been on health education and helping people learn how to be health agents of change. Her work with Sesame Workshop, the non-profit behind Sesame Street, was specifically focused on providing water, sanitation, and hygiene lessons to children and teaching them how to share those messages with their families and friends. She has worked on projects focused on access to clean water in developing countries and how immunizations can protect against various transmitted diseases. She is looking forward to learning more about how environmental factors influence health and impact on our daily lives. Emma is committed to sharing knowledge and research about environmental health issues.
