Maria Valenti

Maria is a co-author and project manager of A Story of Health multimedia eBook and online CE course developed by CHE and a number of public and private science partners.She also acts as CHE’s liaison to the Boston University Superfund Research Program partnership, and as the national co-coordinator of CHE’s Healthy Aging and the Environment Initiative. Prior to joining CHE in 2010, she served for nearly two decades in leadership positions with Greater Boston Physicians for Social Responsibility. She co-authored seminal research reports addressing the Arc of Life and Health, and helped develop and disseminate national environmental health education materials and training programs including the In Harm’s Way Training Program for Health Professionals, the Pediatric Environmental Health Toolkit  and related online Continuing Education course available at the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, and Environmental Drivers of Chronic Disease, focusing on healthy aging across the lifespan.
