Working Group on Asthma and the Environment

CHE's Working Group on Asthma and the Environment explores the connection between environmental contaminants and asthma, and the needs and opportunities for reducing environmental exposures. The group has a particular interest in links between air quality and health, and may expand its agenda to include work on other chronic diseases affected by air pollution. Our conference calls focus on emerging science and on innovative efforts to reduce exposures. The group includes scientists, health-affected groups and community organizations.

This group is co-coordinated by Polly Hoppin, Sc.D. (phoppin@envhealth.net), Program Director, University of Massachusetts, Lowell, Susan West Marmagas, M.P.H. (Susan@HealthandEnvironment.org), Director of Health Programs, Collaborative on Health and the Environment, and Christine Cordero (christine@cehca.org), Community Health Program Coordinator, Center for Environmental Health.

If you are interested in joining this group, please sign on as a CHE Partner, and indicate your interest in your application. If you are already a CHE Partner and would like to join the listserv for this group send an email request to: cheasthma-subscribe@lists.healthandenvironment.org.
