In advising couples thinking (or not thinking) about pregnancy, should iodine be part of the message? In a recent NHANES study, 35% of women had urinary iodine below 100 µg/L.

The Federal Register recently announced that albacore WIC no longer be available for WIC. Instead, Chunk light, sardines, and salmon are now offered, and at slightly greater amounts
