I wanted to point you all to the website I run for the Public Health Institute, ClimateHealthConnect.org. We host a searchable database of more than 500 online resources -- reports, interactive tools, adaptation plans -- on how the changing climate affects human health. Soon, we'll also have a searchable database of people working in the field. We welcome feedback and suggestions, as our goal is to help others do this work more effectively. Thanks!

I'm curious about Mark's take on the adaptation-mitigation issue --- some people argue that adaptation efforts take away from work on mitigation of GHGs.

I'm super interested in what Mark said about devising a media strategy for those in health fields to get their voice heard in the media. I would love to see some follow up: a meeting or a listserv, for example. Keep us posted!

My child is six as well--and certainly I had a similar experience as Mark did as a new parent in terms of raising my level of concern about climate change. I would like to hear more what Mark has to say about his interest in starting a group for parents concerned with climate change. Thanks, Elise
