Chemical Threat in Plastics? YouTube Video on Bisphenol-A

This video clip from ABC News (8/5/07) is about the chemical bisphenol-A (bpa). BPA is used in many consumer products, including plastic baby bottles, sports water bottles, dental sealants, food can linings, soft drink and beer cans, among others. It’s a reproductive and developmental toxin and is ubiquitous in our environment. It’s also in the bodies of 95% of all Americans at levels that can cause breast cancer, prostate cancer, learning disabilities, and other adverse effects.
